Recent IoBT work called Compressive Offloading (a technological solution) based on a paper by Illinois former student Shuochao Yao, now faculty at GMU, has received publicity in defense circles on both sides of the Atlantic after successfully use in some Army experiments. The work originally received a best paper award from ACM Sensys 2020. The work is highlighted in two articles, linked below:
