This task will develop the architectural foundations for the IoBT and conduct end-to-end crosstask experimental validation to address larger scientific questions that go well beyond those addressed in individual tasks. The task will also seek to evaluate the theories, algorithms, and technologies developed in individual tasks under various military relevant scenarios and under a common set of architectural assumptions. In doing so, this research will address fundamental questions of scale, performance, composability, incompatibilities, and multiplicative effects of the IoBT as a whole, and its components, in battlefield settings. The primary value proposition of this task is enabling, and serving as a multiplier for, transition opportunities across the consortium through its architectural and experimental focus, thereby future-proofing C3I.
